As speaking of news about the projects from Reptile Entertainment, the development team (including Shilka members) released a huge information and media footage package about their multiplayer mod "eXcaliTrone v3.0". Many admins of you may know eXcaliTrone already and have used the former version 2.0. Based on the community reaction on Patch 1.4 for Far Cry the team is anxious to offer an alternative that re-unites the gaming community and takes the Far Cry gameplay to a next level. 

 

Overall the mod will introduce many new features (e.g. MP physics), improve lots of old features and functions and even fix a couple of bugs. But enough talking about this - see yourself what this very promising project has to offer... just cliock on the "READ MORE" link!

Um direkt beim Thema News über die Projekte von Reptile Entertainment zu bleiben - zusammen mit einigen Mitgliedern von Shilka hat das Entwicklungsteam ein riesiges Info-Update zu ihrer Multiplayer Mod "eXcaliTrone v3.0" veröffentlicht. Viele Admins kennen eXcaliTrone bereits und haben eventuell die vorherige Version 2.0 benutzt. Basierend auf den Reaktionen der Community über Patch 1.4, hat es sich das Team zur Aufgabe gemacht eine Alternative zu entwickeln, welche die Spielergemeinde wieder vereint und den Far Cry Multiplayer Part auf eine neue Ebene bringt. 

 

Neben vielen neuen Features wie z.B. der lang ersehnten MP Physik bietet die Mod auch Verbesserungen von vorhanden Features und Funktionen. Auch werden einige Bugs behoben. Again someone from the communtiy has released nifty custom models that should be very interesting for all level designers. At this time the objects have been created by "Steven Malediven". Some of them may not be entirely finished, but all of them are free to use. There are two downloads available. The first one with 26MB in size contains the .cgf files and the second one with 6.7MB in size includes the .max files so you are able to alter them to your wishes. The models vary from simple walls and fences over parts of a house to a complete house model and much more.

Und wieder gibt es neue sehr schöne Custom Models aus der Communtiy die sich jeder Level Designer einmal näher anschauen sollte. Diesmal stammen die Objekte von "Steven Malediven". Einige sind noch nicht ganz fertig, trotzdem könnt sind sie zur Benutzung freigegeben. Insgesamt sind 2 verschiedene Download verfügbar. Einmal das 26MB große Pack, welches die .cgf Dateien enhält. Und zum anderen die 6.7MB große Datei, die die .max-Dateien beinhaltet. Damit habt ihr dann die Möglichkeit die Models nach eurer eigenen Vorstellung zu verändern. Die Objekte der Packs variieren von simplen Mauern und Zäunen über Häuserteile bis hin zu einem kompletten Haus-Model und vieles mehr.

Torque86 finally released his "Torque's Treepback v2.0". After some hdd problems which nearly killed all his work, you now can enjoy a whole bunch of new non tropical trees. The 2.7MB sized .zip file is designed especially for mappers who want to create everything but tropical levels :)
