For all level designers a couple of new assets have been created by the community. tp from our forums has released his well known "SweeTrees v2.4". Included are a few new shrubs and trees which are definitely not taken from the palm tree world of Far Cry.



Chrilyng created a new water vehicle called "PBR MKII". The .zip file includes the model which can be placed in your level easily as well as the respective script files. To use the boat correctly please extract the .zip file into your mods folder.



Finally there is a new "Tank" available which has been created by NOsoft. It is completely done in LUA and can be used for free. To make the tank working ingame you should extract this .zip file into your mods folder as well. It includes the complete model and the script files.

Für die Level-Designer unter euch gibt es mal wieder ein paar neue Assets aus der Community. tp aus unserem Forum hat seine allseits bekannten "SweeTrees v2.4" veröffentlicht. Einige neue Sträucher und Bäume die absolut nicht aus der Palmenwelt stammen stehen für euch bereit.



Von chrilyng gibt es ein neues Wasserfahrzeug mit dem Namen "PBR MKII". Die .zip-Datei enthält sowohl das Model, welches ihr problemlos in eurem Level platzieren könnt, als auch die nötigen Script-Dateien. Um das Boot korrekt zu verwenden, solltet ihr die .zip-Datei in eurem Mods-Ordner entpacken.



Zu guter Letzt gibt es noch einen neuen "Tank" von NOsoft. Dieser ist komplett in LUA entstanden und steht zur freien Verfügung. Damit der Tank auch ingame einwandfrei funktioniert, solltet ihr auch hier die .zip-Datei in euer Mods-Verzeichnis extrahieren. Diese enthält nämlich das komplette ingame Model und die zugehörigen Scripts.

Finally the website of the highly anticipated "FarCry-Sports Mod" is back online. After some downtime the page welcomes you with a very well done new flash intro. Also a new forum has been added where all your questions are getting answered by the development team. Lets hope for more updates and maybe even some new media footage about the mod itself :)

Endlich ist die Website der heiß erwartenden "FarCry-Sports Mod" wieder online. Nach einiger Downtime begrüßt euch die Page mit einem neuen richtig gut gemachten Flash-Intro. Auch gibt es ein neues Forum in dem alle eure Fragen vom Development Team beantwortet werden. Hoffen wir auf weitere Updates und neue Media Files bezüglich der Mod :)

Our community member pissdrunx1987 discovered an interesting singleplayer map on one CD of the last german magazine PC Games. It is called "Airfield" and a guy named Nessus is the designer of it. Well done cutscenes and nice indoor and outdoor areas are included. In good old Far Cry style you need to make your way through the level with lots of weaponry and fulfil the mission goals. Easy knitted but still fun to play! To install the map correctly you need to extract the .zip file into your Far CryLevels folder. To run the map, start Far Cry, open up the console and type in map Airfield (press TAB and ENTER).
