Es ist schon etwas her das wir über die "ProjectX 4.4 MOD" für Far Cry berichtet haben, aber es sieht wohl so aus als ob diese bald veröffentlicht werden könnte. DocSEAL hat es in Zusammenarbeit mit 3up und Alligator Jack geschafft, die zwei letzten grossen Bugs zu fixen. Momentan bereitet er die Mod auf den Release vor. Das Ganze dauert ein paar Tage, da Ordner aufgeräumt, neue Grafiken erstellt und die Readme geschrieben werden müssen. In der Zwischenzeit gibt es einen 160MB grosses Video das neues ingame Material zeigt und einige neue Screenshots für euch. Das voraussichtliche Changelog könnt ihr hier nachlesen:

Changelog:

• Fixed the AI to react to proximity mine.  They now react to impact and walk towards it setting it off.
• Added energy timer to the CryEffect.  It only stay on for a limited time now and the amount of energy needed to activate it is increased with your chosen difficulty level.  For Easy difficulty, you only need 20% or greater energy.  For Realistic, you need at  least 95%.
• Enhanced blood effect texturing for more realistic gore level
• Changed some terrain textures for more lifelike look
• Modified vegetation textures to revert closer to originals.  The forest is much less yellow now.
• Many user interface graphics updated including menus, font, loadscreens, save points, etc

Overall four new ingame Screenshots from the Far Cry modification "The Delta Sector" have been released by its author PlatinumGold. Contrary to the more or less not existing winter in Germany and parts of Europe these shots a new environment setting for the mod. Snow covered trees and very nice snowy textures provide an excellent winter feeling. Let's hope your weapon doesn't freeze ; -)

Gleich vier neue ingame Screenshots der Far Cry Modifikation "The Delta Sector" wurden von dessen Ersteller PlatinumGold veröffentlicht. Im Gegensatz zu dem nicht existierenden Winter in Deutschland und teilen Europas, zeigen diese bilder ein neues Environment Setting für die Mod. Schnee bedeckte Tannenbäume und sehr schöne Schnee-Texturen lassen ein richtiges Winter-Feeling aufkommen. Hoffen wir nur, dass die Waffen nicht einfrieren ;-)

The well known multiplayer modification "Assault Coop v2.0" is not far away from being completed. Countless new features, re-worked ingame menus, many bugfixes and a whole bunch of new maps will be included in the final version. To get enough feedback from the community, the developer flameknight7 decided to release a beta version. In about 9 levels you can play either coop together with your friends and fulfil small tasks or play deathmatch against/with smart AI. You should not miss the 165MB sized download. Feedback and suggestions in the respective thread are welcome!

Die beliebte Multiplayer Modifikation "Assault Coop v2.0" nähert sich so langsam ihrer Vollendung. Zahllose neue Features, überarbeitete Ingame Menue, viele Bugfixes und einen ganzen Haufen neuer Maps sollen in der finalen Version enthalten sein. Um genug Feedback von der Community zu bekommen, hat sich der Entwickler flameknight7 dazu entschlossen eine Beta-Version zu veröffentlichen. Auf insgesamt 9 Levels könnt ihr entweder zusammen im Coop mit euren Freunden kleine Aufträge erfüllen, oder euch im Deathmatch gegen/mit richtig guten KI-Gegnern behaupten. Den gut 165MB grossen Download solltet ihr auf jedenfall wagen. Feedback und Vorschläge im zugehörigen Thread sind gern gesehen!
