(NASDAQ: EA) and developer Crytek GmbH, today announced that fans who pre-order Crysis 3 will receive a free digital download copy of the original Crysis game for Xbox 360, PS3 or PC*. Lauded by GameSpot as “One of the greatest shooters ever made” and universally hailed upon its release for breaking new ground with jaw-dropping visuals, industry leading technology and sandbox gameplay, Crysis thrusts players into the middle of a global conflict between the U.S. and North Korea over a mysterious artifact that turns out to be extraterrestrial in nature. In Crysis, players are outfitted with the series signature Nanosuit and an arsenal of fully customizable weapons that provide a wide array of options not only for the games story missions but also every single objective and individual encounter. In addition, those that pre-order Crysis 3 will receive the Crysis 3 Hunter Edition, giving fans a head start in multiplayer with immediate access to the powerful new Predator bow and the Hunter Nanosuit module and more**.
Crysis fans will soon be able to experience the series’ trademark action in a fun new form as Crytek and Queen Games collaborate to bring Crysis Analogue Edition – The Board Game to shop shelves. Slated to arrive in March 2013, the Crysis board game strives to recreate the intense gameplay and finely-balanced action players have come to expect from the Crysis games’ multiplayer modes.
In Crysis Analogue Edition – The Board Game, players will experience the empowerment of tapping into the Nanosuit’s skill set as they bid to play their cards right and gain the upper hand on opponents. Along the way they’ll have to adapt to ever-changing strategic situations, utilize weapons familiar from the videogames and employ tactical teamwork as they enjoy the authentic feel of Crysis combat in board game form.

FPS fans in Korea are being invited to take part in the country’s first closed beta test for explosive new Crytek shooter, Warface.
The Nexon Korea Corporation, who hold publishing rights for Warface in South Korea and Taiwan, are inviting gamers to get in on the action from September 13th-16th by signing up for the closed beta test at their official registration site. Registration will be open from today until September 12th, with a draw determining who will be first players to set foot on the game’s breathtaking battlefields.
Nexon’s Publishing Division Manager Hanseo Jo believes, participants will like what they see: “With a solid background story and inventive take on the genre, Warface will make a strong impact on Korea’s FPS market. We hope users will make the most of this unique chance to participate in the process.”
