Warface Claims Top Title in Russia’s Prestigious KRI Awards

Crytek’s free-to-play online shooter, Warface, stole the show at the Russian Game Developers Conference this week after being recognized with two top prizes in the prestigious KRI Awards. The game – developed at Crytek’s Kiev studio – not only received the honor of being named “Best Game 2012” by the judging panel, but was also winner in the competitive “Best Graphics 2012” category.

The KRI Awards take place as part of the Russian Game Developers Conference each year, and are the only Russian awards handed out by industry professionals to recognize developers in Russia and other CIS countries.

Crytek’s PC game Warface is a military shooter in a near-future setting. It offers a cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics based on Crytek’s proprietary CryENGINE® 3 game development solution.
