Hier Auszüge aus dem Preview von IGN.com:

We got our hands on a frozen tundra of a level that was entirely different from what we previously saw at Comic-Con. The level kicked off with a deep freeze immobilizing Psycho's fellow soldiers and an imminent attack by enemy soldiers also wearing nanosuits. This initial confrontation prompted us to use a new grenade that sets off an orb of energy that disables any nanosuit technology in range. It reminded me of the power-drain item in Halo 3 in that it not only affects enemies but will also take away your own powers if you get too close.

We followed in hot pursuit using the newly introduced hovercraft. The vehicle was a bit floaty at first, but was easy to get the hang of. The chase that followed fully displayed what Crytek is trying to do with their follow-up title. While the world is still sprawling and open, there were a huge number of scripted events that erupted around us as we floated over an icy coastline and jumped waves that had been frozen in place.

Although you can't directly control or order your teammates, they were very active in battle and tackled a group of aliens head-on. It was here we witnessed a new enemy defensive technique as one of their ranks stayed back from the front line and protected his squad with a bubble shield. By letting our teammates distract the group we were able to sneak around the side and take out the protector. The developers also stated that they've tweaked the alien AI to make them a bit more intelligent in their actions and present more of a challenge.
