Multiplayer Winner Announcement Delayed!
Multiplayer - Winner Announcement Delayed
Due to the increased amount of maps the jury currently needs to review, we have to tell you that we would require a bit more time to determine the winners for the Intel / Crysis Mapping Contest. The original plan to review only the top10 levels per category has been revised in our last statement in order to provide a fair chance to every participant due to the not correctly working voting system.
This means the jury members need to review the twice amount of maps, which are 40 for both categories. In order to be able to provide you with fair results and not hurried determinations of the winners for each assignment, we decided to extend this part of the voting for a few days until the 9th of May, 2008.
A jury comprising representatives of Intel, Crytek, EA Games, the Crysis pre-SDK Mod Teams, the major gaming leagues ESL, EAMasters, ClanBase, InCrysis and the Crysis Teams [00] and Epsilon (former GT) is currently reviewing the maps according to precise criteria and name the winners of the assignments in each category, Multiplayer – InstantAction and Multiplayer – PowerStruggle.
The winners are being determined according to following assignments, whereas each assignment has a first, a second and a third place:
