Crytek reports: "We are very happy to announce that Crytek and Crysis 2 have been nominated eight times for this year’s European Games Award - the first award exclusively for European video and computer game developers, which lets professionals and gamers from all over Europe participate in the voting.
Crysis 2 received nominations in the following categories:
- Best European Action Game
- Best European Game
- Best Advertising (Trailer)
- Best European Sound
- Best Special Edition
- Best European Art Direction
Crytek has beyond been nominated in the categories “Best European Studio” and “Personality” (Yerli brothers).
The award show will takes place on August 13th 2011 in Cologne – right before the start of GDC Europe and Gamescom."
