Ryse: Son of Rome on display at PAX 2013

PAX Prime 2013, one of North America’s great gaming events, took place from August 30th to September 2nd this year in Seattle; Crytek’s Xbox One exclusive Ryse: Son of Rome was on show to let players experience the game in its full glory right before its launch this fall.

It was the first four-day PAX and both passes and badges sold out within hours after they went on sale. With a large and varied audience, ranging from hardcore gaming fans to industry experts, PAX was a fantastic platform to display Ryse: Son of Rome. A playable demo showed off the Gladiator Mode, Ryse’s co-operative multiplayer, where two players can take on arena after arena in a colosseum filled with dynamic environments and rapidly spawning enemies.

In case you missed out on recent gaming conventions, we have an all-new gameplay demo with additional commentary from our Ryse dev team lined up! For a thorough impression of the game’s combat system and visuals, please have a look at the video below.
