I started playing in Cold Mountain.
As I walking to the second point Valley the night has come again unrealistically fast (I mean the daytime was too short), and this time the night is not going to go away.
I have already passed more than half of the level, 3 or 4 cut-scenes, and instead of enjoying the level design I have to go to the touch (no night vision) avoiding the enemies.
I run the game in 64 bit / DX10, use autoexec.cfg:
and two lines in diff_bauer.cfg:Code:con_restricted = 0 e_detail_materials_view_dist_xy = 8192 e_detail_materials_view_dist_z = 512 e_shadows_water = 1 e_vegetation_sprites_distance_ratio = 3 e_view_dist_ratio = 130 e_view_dist_ratio_detail = 80 e_view_dist_ratio_vegetation = 130 gpu_particle_physics = 1 q_ShaderWater = 3 r_DetailDistance = 20 s_ReverbType = 1 //dead body & decals stay: g_ragdollDistance = 999 g_ragdollMinTime = 999 g_ragdollUnseenTime = 999 e_decals_life_time_scale = 10 e_terrain_normal_map = 0 r_DepthOfField = 0 r_FSAA = 0 r_FSAA_quality r_FSAA_samples = 0 r_UseEdgeAA = 2 r_UsePOM = 0 r_TexturesStreaming = 0
Code:e_view_dist_custom_ratio = 150 hud_nightVisionConsumption = 0
Is it possible to override somehow map day/night settings without editing in SandBox?
Disable the nightfall for example.
If settings can not be override, can it be changed by editing the files in the map directory? (of course without installing the Sandbox 2 Editor)
And if so, how?
