i too see a lot of people getting kicked from my server within the first few minutes after connect:

would recommend almost the same solution:

  1. deinstall pb

    Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs select PunkBuster Services and click Change/Remove follow the prompts to completely remove the software
  2. search for the following folders and delete them if they are there

    on Windows XP: punkbuster files within your profile:
    C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-USERNAME\My Documents\My Games\Crysis Wars\PunkBuster
    note: delete the PunkBuster folder itself! it may be located on a different drive on your system.

    on Windows Vista: punkbuster files within your profile:
    C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\Crysis Wars\pb
    note: delete the pb folder itself! it may be located on a different drive on your system. i have no vista installation at hand, so i cant verify myself if this is the correct path, but from what i have read it should be correct!

    punkbuster files within your crysis wars install directory:
    D:\Games\Crysis Wars\pb
    note: delete the pb folder itself! "Crysis Wars" may be located on a different drive and in a diifferent folder, depending where you installed the game.
  3. reboot your pc

    although i don't think this is required, it doesn't hurt either.
    the deinstallation of pb in the first step should have also stopped all pb services runnining on your system.
  4. run PBSETUP

    go to http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php and download PBSETUP.EXE
    run PBSETUP.EXE, add the game crysis wars and update the game if this is not done automatically as discrebed on the site where you downloaded PBSETUP.


this should bring your PunkBuster files to the most recent version, which is v1.736 v2.160 | A1394 right now and stop pb from kicking you from servers.
