At this point I will give you some main information about the meaning of whistle blowing. ist dieser satz wirklich sinnvoll? du trägst doch bestimmt "the meaning of wb" vor, sagst dann dass du jetzt übers meaning sprichst und trägst dann das meaning vor. ich würde den einleitenden satz weglassen und direkt anfangen mit: To blow a whistle means to give alarm e.g. (statt e.g. kannst auch for instance schreiben, liest und schreibt sich besser) in a company or enterprise for illegal actions taking place there der satz endet sehr unvorteilhaft, würde das noch mal umformulieren wie:
to blow a whistle, concerning companies for instance, means to give alarm when something illegal or forbidden is taking place/ happening/ occuring.
. In a company this kind of alarm could be if someone informed the chairman of the company or gave away
gave away?? the information to the media,
within a company this kind of alarm could manifest itself as someone (schöner is an employee) informing the chairman of the company about the occurrences or giving the information to the media, i.e. newspapers etc.
for example a newspaper or a news channel. But even informing the boss might bring up problems kein komma because (since statt because ist förmlicher) ..
