Seriously -- nobody stops anymore. I've been hit twice this year, the first one I had to chase them for 6 blocks until they made a wrong turn, got stuck and then I called the police. The cop said "Where was the accident? Why are you all the way over here?" No ticket given. Then I get rear ended at a stoplight by an SUV. Car cosmetically damaged, but OK. I try to be nice and not call the cops -we exchange information and go on our way. Found out the nice lady gave me false info (I only tracked her down because I copied her plate #) and then denied the accident happened to the insurance company. ALWAYS call the police.
