Best Fast, Be Strong, Be Invisible! Starting today, PlayStation®3 gamers can expand their Crysis 2 multiplayer experience with the all new Decimation map pack. Available on PlayStation® Network, Decimation features five stunning new maps located throughout New York City including “Fifth Avenue”, “Chasm”, “Plaza”, “Prism” and “Apartments.” Already armed with the superior powers of the Nanosuit, players will fight through these five unique environments with two new weapons including the FY71 assault rifle and smoke grenades.
Decimation adds more frantic and adrenaline-pumping action to Crysis 2’s critically-acclaimed multiplayer campaign, which helped the game earn over 25 awards from critics around the world when it launched in March.
Crysis 2 multiplayer catapults players into six intense, action-fueled gameplay modes - Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Crash Site, Capture the Relay, Extraction and Assault - across 12 maps set in Crytek’s visually stunning recreation of the Big Apple. Players will advance through a deep progression system of 50 levels, earning a variety of upgrades along the way for weaponry and the Nanosuit itself, rewarding long-term players with tactical advantages that increase their speed, strength and stealth abilities even more.
