Hope to have the big update here soon. I'm always trying to get it done ASAP. The big update will be the following list of completely finished models. I'll put a star (*) by what is currently finished.
Vehicles-
Jeep Wrangler*
Ford Explorer
Augusta A109a Helicopter
Dinosaurs-
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Velociraptor*
Procompsognathus
Dilophosaurus
People-
Ray Arnold
Alan Grant
Structures-
Perimeter Fence*
Visitors' Center Rotunda
Raptor Pen*
etc
Anything without a star, is WIP. Most these items are close to finished.
Only a few are early WIP, such as the NEW Ford Explorer SUV we are working on. But items like the Helicopter. The Helicopter is only missing details in its cockpit. It has its landing gear added, it has textures. It is almost complete, but can't say it is until it is truly complete. I have someone back on the team to help with some of the difficulties of making the Rotunda. With his help, I can finally finish this room.
Many things to look forward to. Currently I'm working with one of my team members to create our massive level. Jurassic Park's Isla Nublar is a 16 KM map. The island shape (tear drop) was created as the base heightmap when the map was created. So the terrain by default is flat, in the shape of Isla Nublar. It is then our job to load, to scale, and proper proportions, the filming location terrain. We first pin point where in the Hawaiian islands, that JP was filmed. All the locations for specific sets/scenes. Then it is my task to find all height data, and all aerial photography. W/e exists, I download.
I then take all height data possible, and load them into specific places on the map.. where they should go approx. Using topographic maps, and other data, I can make sure that the proportions are correct. Using high-resolution 2D photography, and panoramic images. I can make sure that any details that are missing from the height data, are added back in by hand.
