Welcome to today's news update and another look at the fantastic work in progress modification currently in development entitled, "Casus Belli". Team lead for French Touch Studio, Crymod forum member and game developer soul1mano has recently updated us with some brand new screenshots of the mod and some news on the teams recent merger with the "Insidejob" modification, all of which we would like to present here for you today.


Team Merger News
In the past weeks since the teams last media update they have now merged with the team behind the "InsideJob" modification. Here is what the author has to say about the fusion of the two groups.

"First of all we would like to announce with great pleasure the fusion/merging of the modding teams "Insidejob" and "French Touch Studio" working together on: "Casus Belli". The team sums up now to about twenty people motivated to create a stunning multiplayer experience for crysis. Additionally we would like to mention our dear beta testers who give us generously one or two evenings per week to help us improving gaming experience."

Alongside this interesting merger news the team has also been hard at work continuing development of the modification and we would like to present some brand new in-game renders of their recent progress here. Working primarily on the selection and implementation of camouflage for the player. The team has decided to utilize a pattern based on the famous "MARPAT" and "ACUPAT" design for their Occidental Coalition. They will also be using other more common camouflage patterns such as the M81 which will also be realized in a woodland variant. These will soon be followed with the teams selection for the Oriental Coalition.
