Das habe ich im Steamforum dazu gefunden. Hoffe das hilft dir irgendwie weiter
It seems that the 64 bit version of crysis is available if you buy the retail version, but if you buy the steam version, the 64 bit executable is not present. I just want to know why this is. Is it a licensing deal with steam, or what? I contacted steam support and I was told that they ONLY support the 64 bit versions of Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast. Of course, that doesn't explain why the 64 bit executable of crysis warhead is included through steam. I think it would be a good idea for either EA, Steam (Valve), or Crytek to release the Bin64 folder for the original crysis as a patch via steam. I see no reason for steam to omit the 64 bit files when they come with the retail version and they are the same price.
I mean, the steam version of Crysis includes SecuROM, which isn't necessary considering steam purchased games are tied to your account and can't be played by more than one person at any given time.
Yet, the don't include a simple 40mb folder that allows users with a 64 bit capable machine to take advantage of improved performance. It's not like they are two different versions of the game. They are just separate executables.
Thank you for your time.
