naja, aber irgendwann müssen doch Linux files kommen, da 80% aller root server auf Linux laufen

immerhin kann ich Linux nicht leiden hehe... und nein, ich fang jetzt keine linux/windows diskussion an...

Tatsache is das meine ganzen windowsserver Jahrelang fehlerfrei laufen.. daher kann ich nicht verstehen warum einige leute meinen das Windows sowieso nur aus bluescreens, reboots besteht und auf einem server nix verloren hat.

Die haben einfach keine ahnung wie man einen server vernünftig aufsetzt

Re-authentication is required only if you make significant changes to your PC's hardware, reformat your hard drive, or in some cases, upgrade your Operating System. Multiple installations of the game on the same computer that has not gone through significant changes will not count against the number of computers the game can be installed on.

Heißt das, dass ich das Spiel 100 Mal auf meinem PC installieren kann, wenn ich den nicht größeren Änderungen unterziehe (Hardware, Formatieren, etc.).

ja das soll es heissen.
ob es wirklich so ist kann ich dir nicht sagen..
das hat bei Spore auch nicht funktioniert.. Da gilt sogar der tauch eines Bildschirms teilweise als "Hardwaretausch".. und zack muss man spore neu installieren und aktivieren... und wenns blöd läuft muss ma sogar bei der teuren EA hotline anrufen

das selbe hab ich mir nach meinem post auch gedacht, nur hald mit 2 köppe (auch wenn ein österericher NIE köppe sagen würde hehe)

Mein Problem lag eigentlich bei "count against", speziell beim "against". Aber Herr Yerli hat es ja selbst noch mal klar gesagt:

"Warhead uses online authentication and allows up to five activations. This gives you the opportunity to install the game as many times as you want on five different machines."

Und deswegen versteh ich die ganze Aufregung nicht. Man kann sich 5 mal nen neuen Rechner holen, das müsste für paar Jahre reichen.

EDIT: Und kann das bitte jemand mal den Pennern bei Amazon sagen, die das Spiel ******* bewerten. Die Halbwahrheiten, die da verbreitet werden, helfen nicht gerade beim Verkauf. Und die meisten haben das Spiel noch nicht mal gekauft.
