The forums are currently offline for the following reason(s):

Crymod.com Downtime - Thursday 12th March

Welcome to a brief Crymod news regarding some website downtime we plan to have on Thursday 12th March! We're improving the workflow and usability of our forums and to do so we're going to take down the site for a day to get all changes completed.

Forum Downtime
The portal will be down from roughly 10:00 AM 12th March to 10:00 AM 13th March (CET). During this time the forums and portal will not be available for user participation whilst we make changes to the site and make sure everything is in working order for when the portal reopens on friday. We apologise for the brief period of site inactivity but we're sure you'll benefit from what's changing so be patient!

Thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you active again on Friday!

Welcome to another Crymod update regarding our recent downtime on the site. We spent all of yesterday reworking and adding functions to the forum and the rest of the site. Today we've got a changelog of what you can expect to see differently on the forums, as well as a few other notices.

Changelog

• Quick Reply - Added a Quick Reply box at the end of each thread so people can reply faster and easier to threads.
• Top Downloads - A box showing the most popular downloads is now on the front page of the website.
• Forums Update - Reworked and added forums to enhance the usability of the forum layout, including the Sandbox2 and Modding Gallery sections being re-organised and updated.
• Wiki Update Box - Wiki updates are now fed directly into the front page of Crymod so you can see what we and the community are doing.
• Mark Forums as Read - Mark all as read functionality for the entire board and for a specific forum has been added to increase post reading usability.
• Navigation Bar Update - Wiki button instead of tutorials has been added to the navbar; this is now the best place to search for tutorials on the site.
• Banner Added - "Join our Community Now" banner for visitors who are not logged on to the site has been added.
• Crymod Style - Design of Crymod has been slightly changed to match up more with Warhead/Wars theme, including new Crymod logo and buttons.
• Private Messaging - New PM button now at the top of the inbox rather than just the bottom to help you sending messages.
• Downloads - Added main category selection to downloads overview
• New Title - Added "Official Modding Portal" to website title so people know this is run by Crytek.

Known Issues

• CryWiki Downtime - The CryWiki is down for maintenance and improvements, so the Wiki button and the frontpage Wiki links will lead to .htaccess requirements. The Wiki will be completed and up and running early next week.
• Threads Misplaced - Some forums contain no threads, or threads that shouldnt belong to that forum. This is due to an unforeseen issues involved with moving threads en masse. The functionality to do so will be added early next week and the threads will also be moved around the same time.

Work In Progress Features

• Reputation System - This will allow users to add reputation points to other users profiles, which can then be exchanged for prizes in our reputation shop. This will be added next week,
• The CryWiki - After its maintenance and feature additions, this will also go live early next week.

Downtime Next Week
Due to the known issues shown above, the portal will again be down early next week to complete the changes that were not possible to do today. We sincerely apologise for another downtime session, but you guys will love what we're doing once it's done so be patient and enjoy the latest new features!
