Introduction
We have an extremely exciting announcement for all Crysis Wars players! We will be running an Instant Action ‘Free For All’ tournament on the 23/24th May 2009, you will be able to sign up from the 15th of May until the final cut off day on Friday 22nd May. We will be offering some top prizes as well as some Crytek merchandise, so log in, sign up and get your trigger fingers ready!

• Post in the thread with your MyCrysis username, your Crysis Wars game name, and your current location.
• That's it! Now you just need to wait for the groups to be announced.

Rules
There are a few rules that must be followed if you want to participate in the tournament, these are;

• You can only post in the sign up thread once. Anyone posting more than once will be refused entry.
• You can only use 1 account for this tournament. Anyone caught using multiple accounts will be removed.
• Only post the information requested in the sign up thread. Any other posts will be deleted.
• Check the dates of the tournament and ensure that you are able to play, there will not be a delay on games starting for missing players.
• Check back on MyCrysis for updates, if any changes are made you are expected to be aware of them and they will be posted here.

Introduction
The MyCrysis Instant Action FFA Tournament has been rescheduled due to the sheer amount of interest in the event. We are very happy that sign ups have been going so well, and in the interests of making the tournament as organized and enjoyable for everyone as possible, it will be pushed back one week to give us more time for preparation and scheduling, to keep the sign ups open longer, and also to give all participants time to clear their calendars for a weekend of stiff competition.

Updated Schedule

• 12th May - Sign ups open
• 26th May - Sign ups close
• 29th May - Groups and full schedule announced
• 30th May - Play day 1
• 31st May - Play day 2 (and Finals)
• 1st June - Tournament results and winners announced!

Introduction
The sign ups have closed and we have a total of 204 registered players! The groups are now being organised and will be posted soon, in the meantime the schedule of play for the weekend is now available and is posted below. Make sure to check all of the details carefully and that you will be available at the times listed. If you have signed up but are unable to play in the event please post in the comment section at the bottom of the page.

Structure
We have a total of 204 sign ups and two days in which we will be running the tournament, due to this the format has changed slightly but below you can find full details and scheduling.

• Group size increased from 12 to 16
• There will be three rounds in total with the third round being the finals
• Round one will be played on Saturday, Rounds 2 and 3 will be played on Sunday
• Top two players from each group in round one advance to round two
• Top 4 scores that do not finish in 1st or 2nd will also advance to round two
• The top 5 players in each group in round two will advance to round 3

Dates and Schedule
The important dates that you need to be aware of are;

• 26/05/09 - Sign ups close [Complete]
• 28/05/09 - Groups and full schedule announced
• 29/05/09 - Full details of how to take part in the tournament released
• 30/05/09 - Tournament day 1
• 31/05/09 - Tournament day 2 and Finals

The starting time for both Tournament days will be 16:00 (CET) and can run up to 21:00 and possibly later if there are delays. You need to ensure that you are available between these times and if you are not please inform us via the comment section below as you will be unable to play.

• Weapon restrictions: The following weapons are removed;
  - Gauss Rifle
  - LAW
  - FGL40
  - Smoke Grenades
  - Claymore
  - C4

Ping Restrictions
There will be ping restrictions enforced on the tournament servers. The reason for this is that it would be unfair to everyone to have some players 'warping' around the map, shots not registering and other such situations. For this reason we are enforcing a maximum ping of 180 but reserve the right to remove anyone whom we deem to be lagging too much to play properly.

Our servers will be hosted in Europe so for anyone living outside of here I would recommend testing your ping on various European servers before the competition begins and if you find you are having too many issues then please remove yourself from this competition (you can do this by replying to this post in the comments section). We apologise to anyone that has registered and is unable to play for this reason, any future events we run, we will try to cater to everyone.

The full group listing and game times will be announced on Thursday 28/05/09 so make sure you check back on MyCrysis then, we will also be releasing full details of how to get into your games and how the whole event will be run so don't miss it!
