bin zwar kein StarGate Fan, aber diese mod sieht ja richtig HAMMER aus.
Bin mal gespannt, wie lange es noch dauert bis sie veröffentlicht wird, dauert hoffentlich net mehr all zu lange.
P.s. Die Kettensäge finde ich auch richtig geil und den k.A. wie die heißen, dieser Huhnmensch, ist echt gut geworden.

Welcome to another daily news piece; today we are featuring one of the most promising mods out there. The quality of the work is outstanding, the project is called StarCry, and it has combined the universe of Stargate with the technology of CryENGINE2 to bring the world to life
Mod Features
The coders in the team have gone to town with the mod features in the past weeks implementing flash based dialogue systems and digicode security locks, as well as creating a grappling gun system. Ja, das habe ich vor ein paar Tagen bei denen im Thread gesehen, das fand ich doch sehr beeindruckend, was die so zusammengeschustert haben.

Welcome to today's news update and another look at the fantastic work in progress modification, entitled "StarCry". Crymod community member and co-leader of the StarCry Team, DarK_Wolf, has recently updated the community with two new videos of the modification, both of which we would like to feature for you here in today's news update.
Droid Dismemberment
Firstly we have a new video of the modification which shows off both a work in progress C++ coded dismemberment system, and a new work in progress enemy, the battledroid. As shown in the video, the droid can be fully dismembered and reacts accordingly to it, with the dismemberment of each body part reducing it's effectiveness appropriately. A soon to be added feature is the destruction of the head, which will reduce it's intelligence even further.
Multiplayer Racing
Next, and lastly, we have a video demonstrating a new multiplayer racing map, complete with brand new vehicles. Below is a quote from the DarK_Wolf regarding this exciting new content addition.
"After many requests about adding multiplayer content, we decided fall 2008 to add multiplayer levels with original content/gameplay like the singleplayer does. This is a preview, all the track and lap counting system are still in progress, but you can see new vehicules that are fully functional."

Welcome to an update for our work in progress modification entitled "StarCry". Today we've got another update for you, which consists of two videos which showcase half of the first level of the modification, and three screenshots which show a new character that we've created for the modification.
Update Media
The videos below showcase half of the first level of the modification, while also showing many of the custom assets that we have created for the modification. As also seen, we have also developed and inputted many, mainly humourous, easter eggs for the player to find. The screenshots below the videos also show one of the many custom characters that we have created for the modification.
