Right, so I decided to release a short beta/demo, its a small walled off section of the map (no mission), basically just AI (which has not been navved, so may have some glitches), jungle, a few buildings, and a small base. I thought it would be a good idea to release a little bit at this stage so I can see whats wrong with the map and get feedback - dont expect it to be polished like a final version as there is still LOTS of work to do.
You can try it in Warhead but when I tried it messed up the terrain texture, so best to try with Crysis.
Change the TOD (which will be sleep function when finished)
For the final version I am trying to add a sleep function, but its not finished yet so if you want to change the TOD in the demo use the keys "Y", "U", "O" or "P" for respective times. If I were you I would play it through the first time without changing the TOD, then play around and see which TOD you fancy after.
Good Config
The map will look best in vanilla Very High, DX10 - but if you play DX9 this config made by "Shadowdane" from incrysis (his thread:
