Welcome to today's news update and a screenshot update of the work in progress singleplayer level currently in development entitled "Remind". Crymod forum member and level designer, Alex9.3 has recently updated us with a selection of screenshots from this promising singleplayer level, set in a large mountainous area, some of which we would like to feature here for you today.


WIP Screenshots
The level is set in a large mountainous area, filled with evergreen and deciduous vegetation, this vast open and expansive map. It is a step away from the tropical scene and is the representation of the northern forests in America. The six screenshots below detail the state of development as it stands at the moment. Be sure to check the forum thread regularly for future updates to this promising map.

also im allgemeinen finde ich die shots schon sehr schön, aber bei genauerem hinsehen; so wie sich das gehört, erkenne ich einige unschöne dinge. beim letzten solltest du dringend die viewdistance der kleinen steine erhöhen, da das sonst sehr merkwürdig ausschaut, wenn die nicht korrekt angezeigt werden. beim ingame shot sind die felstexturen irgendwie nich ganz scharf. eventuell liegt es daran, das du die felsen vergrößert hast oder einfach nur an den grafischen optionen. oben links sieht man außerdem auch nich ganz schön eine grüne textur. aber vom setting her sieht es frisch & gut aus.

wenn ich nur die Screens kennen würde, hätte ich gesagt das ist SKMs "The Resort"

sieht zumindest extrem ähnlich aus

Bis auf das zweite Bild sieht es finde ich anders aus als "The Resort". Auch wenn das Setting das gleiche bleibt, so kommen mir die Szenen detailreicher und nicht so zufallsgeneriert (von der Vegetation her) vor, wie manche Stellen in SKM's Map.
Aber jetzt wird die Map wohl laut Crymod eh nochmal komplett überarbeitet. :smile:
