Kann ich mir irgendwie nicht vorstellen.
Sie werden eher wieder irgendeinen unnötigen Casualmist für die aktuelle Generation vorstellen, um auch noch die Letzten zum Kauf zu bringen
und die PS4 mit keinem Wort erwähnen - nicht einmal eine Andeutung machen.

Eine Revision von der Vita würde jetzt ziemlich gut passen im Stile von
PSP 1000 -> 2000. Sony hat außerdem erst vor einer Woche die Produktion
der PS2 beendet, denke mal vor 2014 kriegen wir keine neue Konsole von
denen aber Infos gibt´s sicherlich.

Glaub ich auch. Und zur PS4 gibt's wenn überhaupt lediglich zuverlässige Eckdaten.
Mit der XBox720 rechne ich schon zur diesjährigen E3 (damit dass sie in den Handel kommt).

Sony may officially announce PlayStation 4 as early as May, according to comments attributed to a senior executive at the company. Hiroshi Sakamoto, vice president of Sony Home Entertainment, reportedly hinted at a near future PS4 reveal in a Spanish language interview conducted with Emol.com at CES last week. Asked if a new PlayStation will be revealed in the coming months, Sakamoto said, according to a Google translation of the original report: "That's still a big secret, but our friends are preparing Sony PlayStation. I can only say that we are focused on the E3 gaming event, scheduled for June. [The] announcement may be in that minute or even earlier in May. Pressed on whether the company is preparing a "big announcement" or "something additional", Sakamoto replied "probably the first," adding: “In that time we expect to deliver great news, but we must wait until May at least." Whether anything has been lost in translation is unclear, but Sony Computer Entertainment UK declined to comment on the interview and Sakamoto’s reported statements when contacted by CVG. If other recent reports are accurate, PlayStation 4 is codenamed “Thebes”, will run on an AMD CPU and GPU fabricated in the new 28 nanometer standard, and studio’s are set to receive final console developer kits this summer. Baird Equity Research analyst Colin Sebastian said this week that, having spent CES "with a number of companies involved in video game development and distribution", he expects new console hardware from Sony and Microsoft to retail for $350-$400 in the US. GamesIndustry International reports that Sebastian also forecast an October 2013 launch for Sony’s new console and a November release for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 successor, although he added that his "field checks" have revealed there "may be early production issues with PS4".

Die Gerüchte zu den neuen Konsolen nehmen einfach nicht mehr ab. Wenn dieses Jahr keine neuen Konsolen kommen dann weiß ich auch nicht mehr.

Playstation 4 - Mögliche PS4-Enthüllung auf Sony-Event am 20. Februar

Mit einem mysteriösen Teaser-Trailer befeuert Sony Spekulationen, dass die Playstation 4 im Rahmen des PlayStation Meeting 2013 am 20. Februar in New York vorgestellt wird.

Am 20. Februar veranstaltet Sony in New York City das PlayStation Meeting 2013, in dessen Rahmen vermutlich die Playstation 4 erstmals offiziell vorgestellt wird. Darauf lässt sowohl ein Artikel des Wall Street Journal schließen, dass sich auf eine Quelle beruft, die »mit der Angelegenheit vertraut« sei, als auch ein Teaser-Video, das Sony selbst auf seiner offiziellen Playstation-Webseite veröffentlicht. Unter dem Titel »See the Future«, wird dort der Event am 20. Februar (nach unserer Zeit am 21. Februar um null Uhr) angekündigt.

Auch Geoff Keighley von GameTrailers twittert: »Ich habe gerade meine Einladung bekommen, Playstation Meeting, 20. Februar NYC. Ich glaube ich weiß, was kommt.«

Der Event soll live gestreamt werden.

Am 25. Februar 2013 findet zudem die Veranstaltung Destination PlayStation in Scottsdale, Arizona statt. Falls die PS4 tatsächlich am 20. Februar in New York erstmals gezeigt würde, könnten Händlern und Presse auf dem dreitägigen Nachfolge-Event Spiele für die neue Konsole gezeigt werden.
