Eher enttäuschend. Ich habe diesen Beitrag auf Englisch in einem Forum verfasst:
Reading all the tests out there, the HD7970 seems to be like 20-25% faster than the over-one-year-old GTX580 (1,5GB version) on 1920x1080. Less % on 1650x1050, more on 2560x1600. The 3GB video memory seem to help for 2560x1600, but there's also a version with 3GB for the GTX580. And even for people who want some high-end stuff: You can't be sure how Crossfire is going to work with the HD7970. Double or triple GTX580 might still be faster in some games (and cheaper now). The "con" list ist just too long:
(-)
- Price is not that good and the price for the GTX580 is falling
- Not much of a performance gain
- You have to wait and see how Crossfire is scaling, compared to GTX580 SLI
- Even the next middle-class GPU of Nndia could probably be as fast as the HD7970
- Resolutions on which the HD7970 is significantly faster than the GTX580 don't matter for most of the gamers. (And as soon as they are, Keplar will be already released.)
(+)
- Might be interesting for people with huge resolutions (e.g. eyefinity) who want the fastest stuff on the market. (Although I still don't think a single GPU would be a good idea to play the demanding games on such resolutions, which leads to the "Crossfire scaling" question.)
