    Yeah, Jurassic Park 4

Geil...

    SAW 6 DC

Neue Infos und genauere zum DC:

Um... where do I begin... first of all, don't let the runtime fool you... there are quite a few differences and this time it's not just the gore, the differences actually change the movie slightly and make it even better IMO.

I wasn't sure at first with Cecil and Amanda's scene right after the opening titles... but then pretty much every single change they made has made me happy.

There are quite a few new quick flashbacks from the other movies that explain things better... a few things also make the movie a bit more unpredictable and mysterious... which I love.

For example, it's not made clear at first that Jill only gives Hoffman the first 5 envelopes...

Another detail I loved was the carousel trap scene which was slightly different. The last part of it was edited differently and you could really tell how confused William was by the end of it and how hard it must have been emotionally to make the choices he made. You'll see I guess... I don't want to describe every single change because I don't want to spoil the surprise for people.

The biggest and best change IMO is the ending of the movie... which is now completely flawless IMO. One of the things I didn't quite like about Saw VI the first time is how hard it was to understand what Jill actually wanted. In the TC you see her looking at William almost bursting into tears and then just stand there by the door, say "game over" with a killer look on her face and leave... it looked like she was actually HAPPY about the fact that she was killing Hoffman... it made her look like a serial killer or Jigsaw's next accomplice. The DC fixes that... Kevin used an alternate shot and you can tell that Jill actually doesn't feel too good at that time as she actually looks sad and shocked when she says game over and closes the door...

Also, she doesn't start the trap by closing the door this time... instead, Hoffman's RBT starts right after brent pulls the lever! I guess they're gonna have to explain WHY it does that (unless Saw VII is just gonna go with what they did in the TC) but to me it makes quite a big difference.

The whole ending plays like one scene instead of having 2 separate "Hello Zepp" kind of ending montage.

There are also quite a few new additions in the ending flashbacks... it makes everything seem more epic.

Another thing that people are gonna love is the addition of a scene after the credits... THAT will have us talking for the next few months. I won't spoil it though... don't spoil it for yourself either, I suggest you wait until you see it!

So... the DC is definitely the best version of Saw VI in my opinion... and I CAN'T WAIT to get my hands on my copy of the blu-ray disc.

It just proves once again that Kevin is the perfect director for these movies... I really wish he was directing Saw VII, especially since it's the last one... but I can't WAIT for his next project. I'm more excited for that than I am for Saw VII... and that's saying something.

Eine komplette Liste der Director's Cut Szenen und Änderungen:

    - Eddie winces before he starts cutting into himself.

    - More cutting.

    - Simone gets deeper into her arm with the knife.

    - Right after the SAW VI title card, there's a surreal bit with Amanda and Cecil driving. They look at each other, then it cuts to Umbrella Health.

    - When Hoffman sees Strahm's hand (before we do), instead of smiling and walking forward, he smirks and turns back through the door.

    - "...and that man was Seth Baxter." Flashback to the pendulum is cut.

    - Hoffman's "Is that all there is?" after Jill gives him the envelopes is cut.

    - Jill doesn't say "Okay, John." She just sighs and turns off the light.

    - Extra shot of Tara and Brent watching William/Hank's game.

    - More breaths before Hank is killed. An extra shot of him spitting blood into his oxygen mask.

    - William first tries the key on the wrong wrist shackle.

    - Extra shots of dead Allen.

    - No shots of Jill driving to the hospital. We just find her walking up the steps.

    - Amanda fakes like she's going to hit Hoffman with the wrench right after "What do you know about life?"

    - Different take of "Get used to me, 'cause I'm not going anywhere."

    - The Saw V flashback to Jill taking the key off the chain is intercut with "When the time's right, you'll know what to do," instead of coming after the line.

    - Extended scene with Tara and Brent. After Tara's "Why would someone do this?", Brent thinks it's just to see how they respond. He wants to pull the lever but she thinks it's too risky.

    - We hear a "Right now you are feeling helpless" voice-over as William leaves the carousel room.

    - More of the techie playing with the tape, including making it sound helium-induced

    - After pulling the Live/Die switch without it working, Brent slides against the wall crying that "it doesn't make any fucking sense."

    - Letter flashback: more shots of Amanda looking at the note. We see Amanda and Cecil in the car, cutting to outside the clinic. After Cecil says Jill's been good to them, Amanda says she's been good to him and begs him to do it. Hoffman's reading of the letter is different -- darker. (Similar to how John's reading of the final Saw III tape is much darker in the director's cut.)

    - During the shot revealing Tara and Brent are Harold's family, Harold says, "Come on, let's go."

    - No shots of the injector needles before William starts pleading.

    - Final sequence is edited a little differently. Too many minor changes in editing/music to mention.

    - Brent choosing "DIE" activates Hoffman's RBT!

    - Hoffman escaping the RBT is intercut with William dying.

    - Final flashbacks are different. We see a shot of Hoffman rising from the chair from the TC Saw IV. The slamming doors are shown in reverse -- Jill, Hoffman, Amanda, then John.

    - AFTER CREDITS (thanks to the other thread or I never would have seen this!): Amanda and Corbett. See for yourself...
