Alpha Preview Version
Its bonfire night here in the UK, and I thought what better time than to release the Dynamic Fire 2 Mod Alpha version!
Dynamic Fire 2 Mod Alpha Download:
Crymod: Download from Crymod (http://www.crymod.com/filebase.php?fileid=2655)
Other Mirrors:
RapidShare: Download (http://rapidshare.com/files/160735520/Dynamic_Fire_2_Setup.exe.html)
ImageHost: Download (http://d.imagehost.org/download/0354/Dynamic_Fire_2_Setup.exe)
MediaFire: Download (http://www.mediafire.com/?ehzhtmuwzy2)
Information
Firstly: This is NOT a flowgraph based modification.
The last version of my Dynamic fire mod had two major shortcomings:
Fire points had to be preplaced
It was created entirely by flowgraphs so would need adding to each level.
I have now fixed both those problems. Now the mod works with Crysis on a global level. Also absolutely NO pre-placement is required, as the system can decide where it should and should not spread. The major problem with the mod is optimization, but I found a neat way of keeping the FPS high even with large fires. And with Crysis WARHEAD's new particle system the mod should run even better on that (and I can easily convert it ;) )
Enjoy the video :))
The fire in this video is sped up for your enjoyment,
the fire in the mod spreads much more slowly and with less force.

The fire is also now affected by wind.
I am also here by declaring war on Far Cry 2 and Ubisoft
October Update
I have an update for you guys. I have been working on 2 things, optimization and looks. I wanted to make the fire look more like Far Cry 2's, and look better overall. So here is the mods new look. Tell me if you like it or dislike it.

I've been focusing on how wind affects the fire also, toss a 'nade near a fire and expect the fire to sway in that direction setting vegetation and wooden objects alight.
