wurde nicht irgendwie in den letzten wochen noch behauptet, dass man an keinem neuen teil arbeiten würde?
nun ja - ich freue mich dennoch extrem über diese ankündigung.

eigentlich wollte ich ja nie wieder etwas von gamestar zitieren / posten, aber:

Dead Island: Riptide - Kein Remake sondern komplett neues Spiel

Nachdem einige Fans die Befürchtung hatten, dass Dead Island: Riptide nur eine erweiterte Neuauflage des ersten Serienteils sei, äußerte sich jetzt der Publisher Deep Silver: Riptide wird ein vollkommen neues Dead Island.

Deep Silver today announces first details about Dead Island Riptide.
The survivors of the zombie-apocalypse on the once beautiful island resort of Banoi escaped in a helicopter to the safety of a military ship. When a furious storm hits and the virus suddenly spreads throughout the crew, the nightmare starts all over again, leaving hope drowning in the rising tides. Devastated by a monsoon, the island of Palanai is crawling with new zombie mutations. A fifth character with an all-new skillset will join the team, providing much needed support. Additional multiplayer communication features and brand new hub defense missions will test the survivor’s teamplay skills.
Dead Island Riptide will be released in 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Hauptsache es macht Spaß.
Und im Endeffekt hat mich das Spiel tatsächlich länger gefesselt als ME3.
Ich mag solche Spiele nun mal.
