Today is the day that a lot of JRPG fans have been waiting for; Level 5 has confirmed that their gorgeous PS3-exclusive,
Ni No Kuni, will release in the US in early 2012,
Gamespot reports. Team boss Akihiro Hino confirmed during the Sony Computer Entertainment Asia press conference. This PS3 version of the DS original covers most of the ground that the portable version does, but also continues on past the original ending. Post-release content is also planned.
Nothing in the way of a more specific date or a European release, unfortunately, but we’ve been drooling over this one for years. It’s great to finally get it in the west.
