[MAP] Triton-5 by Fortran
Nun, es wird Zeit, eine weitere vielversprechend aussehende Map vorzustellen, die von Crymod-Moderator und Cry-Recon-Mod-Leader Fortran erstellt wird.

Well it's been a fair while since I used sandbox for anything other than flowgraph concepting or testing weapon rigs etc. so I thought I would set aside a handful of hours each week to work on a Crysis sp map. Still playing with a few ideas at the moment but it will most certainly be some form of underground military installation. I don't have a lot of time for it what with Cryrecon and real-life but it's something I have been meaning to do for a long time now.
Only one screen for today but it's a start. This features the transport tunnel which connects the player to the main installation. Cheeky little homage to the spacecowboys team with my own version of the glowing gasmask goggles :p
Anyway will update this slowly over time as I develop both the map and the storyline for it a little more.

Story Outline
Your name is Jake Dunn, call-sign Nomad. You have been selected to lead an evac team in response to the recent critical situation occurring at Triton-5, a government funded deep sea research facility in the mid Pacific. Three days ago the lower levels of the complex shut down after a massive unknown failure leaving anybody inside trapped and in total darkness. At the end of day one of the crisis garbled and un-ineligible cctv and radio messages began relaying from the lower levels showing extensive damage and flooding in the area. There were also some more troubling transmissions that were received however these will require further investigation. The upper sector of the facility has already been evacuated aside from key personnel. It is your mission to gain access to the lower levels, evacuate any remaining survivors and provide an assessment of the current situation.
Man spielt Jake Dunn - Codename Nomad. Er wurde ausgewählt, um ein Evakuierungsteam zu leiten, das auf Grund einer kritischen Situation zusammengestellt wurde, die vor kurzem auf Triton-5, einer regierungsfinanzierten Tiefseeforschungseinrichtung im Mittelpazifik eingetreten ist. Vor drei Tagen ist in den unteren Geschossen des Komplexes der Betrieb eingestellt worden, nachdem ein schwerwiegender unbekannter Störfall jeden, der sich dort befand einschloss und in völliger Dunkelheit beließ.Am Ende des Tages wurde eine der verzerrten aber nicht untauglichen Videoüberwachungs- und Radioübertragungen weitergeleitet, die ein beträchtliches Ausmaß des Schadens in den teilweise unter Wasser stehenden (gefluteten) unteren Geschossen zeigte. Der obere Sektor der Forschungseinrichtung wurde daraufhin mit Ausnahme des Schlüsselpersonals evakuiert. Euer Auftrag ist es sich Zutritt zu den unteren Etagen zu verschaffen, verbliebene Überlebende zu retten und einen Lagebericht zur gegenwärtigen Situation zu geben.
