Yes I am English, and my german is really bad so I'd best not make my self look stupid.
Anywho I'm working on Blade Runner.
You can see a very early version here.

The link doesnt work
Ähm doch der funzt.
Es wirt ein Video dann gedownloadet.
@Sir Baron: The Link Work, but i dont like it:-?
@Waprspeed: Yrs its pre-alpha, but the vid has a long intro, and that i dont like it, because the cutscene is short and bad i think.(irgendwas ist an dem satz falsch :(. )
This looks/sounds really interesting, I like the atmosphere of your video.8-)
I havent seen the real movie until yet, but I thought it plays in New York?
Hello SirBaron - Welcome to CRYSIS-HQ.de. Your Scene looks Interesting. Waiting for more Info about it :)
Mfg LKrieger
Yes the intro is longer but the intro is what made the film for me.
The text alone took a hour to time.
The content it self is really early, I mean really early.
This is the original video.

This video is mainly for those who watch and love blade runner as much as me ¬¬ :p
edit: If you don't like Blade Runner or have never watched it this video will have no significance.
edit2: You also have to remember I've only spent over a hour on this cutscene, Rome wasn't built in a day ¬¬.
Hi SirBaron
i think the first part (2 minutes) ist too long for an Contest
the last part looks very interesting, and your choice for replay the video to cry engine2 is interesting too
- Crysis2142
I saw your announcement on Crymod to take part here...looks interesting but I still expect a little more to come:)
It probably is too long, but It's staying regardless even if it means I lose.
Fact is it's not Blade Runner without the text intro. :p
edit:
/sigh
It seems people don't understand that it's impossible to make something that big in just 2 hours.
I only started this last night, give me a chance to make it first.
You people are harsh (cries).
I don't want to know what you people say about my X32I :p
I've seen it already yesterday on CryMod, very good choice but it coud be a little dustier.
2 hours for this is for my experience on the sanbox editor really good^^
i hope you make more movies for the hq member^^
- Crysis2142
Don't worry. A long intro isn't gonna hurt you, as long as your actual content is long enough and you stay under 10 minutes. ;)
Hehe. Looks like it. :)Zitat:

I actually was impressed how much you can create in such a short time. Spay and AndyIII also made some quite nice Intros in a few hours. Can't wait to see, what you guys can do till the end of the month.
Of course I understand that you started just yesterday evening but that doesn't mean that I am not allowed to expect some more.
And I certainly do expect some more, not only because the real scene is not very long yet (time problems, I know:cool:) but especially because I consider this vid very promising;-)
EDIT: Sure, but I can only speak for myself;-)
Well, you don't have to hurry. Considering your working speed, you'll have plenty of free time till the deadline...
@SirBaron
Some people here are really impatient .
Okay minor update, the flying taxi is a squshed car made yellow http://www.rage3d.com/board/images/smilies/bleh2.gif.
Anyway timing of the car and sound is off by a second.
http://www.x32i.org/Videos/BRv2.wmv, minor improvement but it's hopefully obvious
nice idea, looks cool so far, there's just one thing missing - the city ;-)
the two lights from above appear too early in your scene
and the text seems to be quite small in comaprison to the original
well I know its WIP
The Intro with the few text is a bit boring, but that doesn't matter. The main content (flying taxi and so on...) is just impressive and looks nearly like the real scene.

The buildings are place holders, especially the textures, but it's more complete than the other 2 videos. ;)
edit: opse wrong link was older video, fixed.
edit: Youtube version of it now too.

Sadly I have to remove my self from the competition.
X32I is taking all my time away from this, especially since I had to restart the 2nd map.
Oh, that's sad to hear :(.
