Habe das gestern schon auf Crymod gesehen und fand es sehr gut.

Bin schon auf das gesamte Paket gespannt. Story kann
ja noch so gut sein, aber wenn es schlecht inszeniert wird, dann
nützt das einem nicht viel. Wirst du schon hinbekommen.

Welcome to today's news update and a first look at a brand new work in progress singleplayer map, entitled "Recurrence". DB staff member, Crymod community member and talented level designer, TheMegaMaster, has recently updated us with a selection of short story building teasers for his next upcoming map and we would like to feature a selection of these here for you today.



Story Teasers
Based on a series of real-life events that occurred in the infamous Bermuda triangle, the author is beginning this new level project not with the usual release of work in progress screenshots, but rather with a selection of story teasers designed to introduce us to both the story itself and to draw us into the events that this new level will revolve around. As with any great storyline TheMegaMaster is releasing these "breadcrumbs" slowly over time to keep us in suspense for the next update. Presented below are the first three of these story sections as they have been released.

15/12/1958

TO: Mr. John Arrow
US Department of Defense

Dear Mr. John Arrow:

Ten years ago, we both were part of a research group that analyzed a maritime
phenomenon that happened near the east cost of the USA. When the objects suddenly
dissapeared, we all thought, everything will be fine in the future - we were wrong.

Since the first day of december the Office of Marine Intelligence is getting reports and all
have the same subject: UMOs. Mainly fishermans and captains which are working at night
see these objects, reporting that they swim towards their ship and then suddenly
dissapear. At this state we don´t know nothing about them, we don´t know if these things
are dangerous or maybe friendly. We don´t even know if they´re artifical or nature
phenomenons, but as you might remember, they seem to be intelligent.

6 days ago the crew of the destroyer "USS Mirage" shot a photo of an UMO swimming in
front of them. Unfortunatly it´s not from a good quality, but better then nothing.
As you see, the color has slightly changed from a yellow-orange into a pure red...

go to bed now, had not sleep since 3 days.

A woman called Christine Howards (friend of the missed persons) calls the local police station. She says both of her friends vanished. She wants some policeman to come to the house of Melinda and Matthew Green.

11:56 AM
Responsible police officers are on location. They find whole house empty. The only interessting evidence they found is this letter:




1:03 PM
Police officers leaving the location to proceed with their investigation.

12:00 PM
No more information about the whereabout of Melinda and Matthew Green found.

A policement called Josh Dune found interessting placards in the bay of Nassau.
He sent them directly to the loca police station that has informed the US Department of Defense.
Below is an example. Investigation has started.
