Hinweise zum neuen Forumsystem und was sich dadurch bezüglich des restlichen Portals ändert.

Hier ein paar WICHTIGE INFOS:
- Als Hintergundinformation warum das Forum gewechselt wurde, sei gesagt, dass das alte Forum ein paar Bugs hatte die ich nicht fixen konnte. Früher oder später wäre es so zum totalen Crash gekommen... das wollte ich mit der Forensoftwareumstellung verhindern. Da die Benutzer- und Zugriffszahlen stetig steigen, sind wir so auf der sicheren Seite.

- Der Portal und Forum Zugang sind zwei unabhängige Logins. Das heisst, es muss sich im Portal und/oder im Forum (seperat) eingeloggt werden. Ich werde versuchen eine Lösung dafür zu finden...

- Ab sofort müssen sich neue Benutzer nur einmal registrieren. Durch das registrieren, welches über das Forum abläuft, wird auch ein Benutzer mit dem selben Handle und eMail Adresse im Portal eingerichtet. Es gibt nur eine Spezialität... vor dem ersten Portal Login muss man ein Portal-Passwort anfordern (weitere Infos erhält man im Falle des Falles). Das betrifft nur den Portal Login NICHT den Forum Login... dessen Passwort ist das während der Registration gesetzte.



To Do Liste:
- Die Darstellung der letzten Forenbeiträge auf der Startseite (Portal) wird noch erweitert. Status = 100%

- Das man sich nur einmal registrieren muss und nicht zweimal (für Portal und Forum). Status = 100%

- Das man sich nur einmal einloggen muss um im Portal und Forum online/eingeloggt zu sein. Status = 10%

- Die "Wer ist Online" Übersicht auf der Startseite (Portal) wird wieder hergestellt. Status = 25%

Some notes about the new forum system and changes to our portal.


!!! PLEASE READ THIS !!!


Some IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS:
- Some background informations... I changed the forum because the old forem system had some bugs which I wasn't able to fix. To prevent a database crash I deceided to change the forum software. Also the new forum software can handle much more hits, to be prepared for the future.

- The portal and forum accounts are two independent logins. This means, you have to login to our portal and/or forum twice (seperate). I'll try to find an solution for this...

- From now on you only have to register once. If you register (via our forum), an account with the same infos (handle, eMail) for our portal will be created too. There's only one specialty... before you login into our portal for the first time, you have to request a password first (more informations about this, you'll see if you need them). This is only applicable for the portal login... your forum password is the one you set during registration.

Note: You can change the forum language to english (via the dropdown-menu on the left side (bottom)).



To Do List:
- The display of the latest forum threads on the startpage (Portal). Status = 100%

- That a new user only have to register once (for Portal and Forum). Status = 100%

- That you only have to login once to be online/logged in into our portal and forum. Status = 10%

- The "Who is Online" Overview on the startpage will be recovered too. Status = 25%
