Today we would like to introduce you to the first of many of our new series, Crysis Machinima! Many modders are now starting to develop their own machinima with the Crysis engine, and the results speak for themselves. Today, we will showcase the introduction to the upcoming film, Stone Hell. This machinima, clocking in at 4 minutes, is based not on Earth, but on another planet. Quoting the author,
quote: Mankind has found an unknown planet. Scientists were send to discover the terrain, but something terrible happened and the contact was broken. The first prototype of a cyborg, who just finished his first training mission on the earth (what you can shortly see the in the intro), should be send to find out what happened....
This features a unique time of day setting that clearly makes the setting look like Mars. When the first part of the movie is released, it will be around 15-20 minutes and will feature various characters and unique dialog.
