Das EVGA X79 Classified kommt zusammen mit dem 2011er Sockel (Sandy Bridge E) und dem Quad Channel DDR3 Speicher, der bis zu 32GB in diesem Board fasst und 2133+ MhZ Geschwindigkeit erreicht. Es unterstützt bis zu 4 Wege SLI oder CrossfireX. Die Anbindung der PCIe Lanes sind wie folgend:
1x GPU: 16x
2x GPU: 16x / 16x
3x GPU: 8x / 8x /16x
4x GPU: 8x / 8x / 8x / 8x /
Bei dem Monsterboard ist zu beachten, das ein Gehäuse mit dem XL-ATX Formfaktor gewählt wird.

Das Board lief zusammen mit 32GB Speicher die auf 1600 MhZ getkatet waren und einem Intel i7-3930K Prozessor der ebenfalls übertaktet 4,3 GhZ erreicht hatte.

Fazit:
Die Beleuchtung/Status LEDs werten das Board weiter auf und sorgen für einen hervorragenden Look. Die Qualität und Verarbeitung war wie von EVGA gewohnt - Oberklasse! Meiner Meinung nach eines der stärksten und qualitativ hochwertigsten Boards, jedoch zu einem hohen, aber verdienten Preis.
