Hier sind ein par Videos die "Toaster" auf der Gen-Con07 gemacht hat.

Habe mir die Videos heute auch schon angesehen (am Portal gibt's eine News dazu), fand die nicht so besonders toll (Was ich aber auf die miese Qualität zurückführe).

Hoffentlich bekommen wir zur CG wieder mal ordentliches Material :)

Schön war, dass man endlich erfahren hat in welcher Auflösung dieses Demo Level lief und zwar in 1920x1200. Dafür lief es doch recht flüssig.

naja das haus hat dann schon ziemlich übertrieben gelaggt....

das lief ja auch einem c2d, wäre das ruggeln mit einem c2q auch so schlimm?

Jo denke schon das das auf nem quadcore genauso gelaggt haette.
Ein quadcore bringt dir im moment nicht mehr als ein dualcore is einfach so.
Und da die meisten eh auf 1280x1024 (native Auflösung für 17 und 19 Zoll TFTs) oder niedriger spielen werden dürfte es ziemlich gut laufen. Ich spiel immer auf 1024x768 und dafür dann mit Antialiasing und AF an. Wundert mich aber nicht das das so ruckelt wenn man mal drauf achtet wie detailiert die häuser sind. Da waere dann physX schon nichts schlechtes.


PS: HI @ ALL bin zwar neu hier angemeldet aber verfolge das ganze hier schon was länger vor allem auf Grund der ganzen Videos die man hier runterladen kann.
Macht weiter so!! Auf jeden Fall eine der besten Communitys die ich kenne *schleimen OFF*

Das habe ich aber schon die letzten 4 Tage beobachtet, dass Incrysis ab ca. 17 Uhr nicht mehr erreichbar war..

Die machen sicherlich ab 17 Uhr ein Backup, machen wir ja auch täglich...

Falsch. Crysis wurde für multi-CPU Systeme optimiert. (bzw. wird es noch.) D.h. Crysis nutzt auch mehr als 2 Kerne, wodurch die Leistung gesteigert wird.

Last but not least is Crysis. We were playing on Dell XPS's and Alienware computers and yes it still could max them out. They were running it on Windows XP and Vista so you could see the difference between DX9 and 10. Bottom line Crysis is the revolution FPS needed for PC's Multiplayer is solid, Single player has a rich interesting story. Now I must say this had to be an early build because Glitches were EVERYWHERE! floating guns in cutscenes, alot of texture bugs. I think I drove thru a cliff as well. so alot of work still to be done. the only thing that really irked me was the shotgun. It has no power. Point blank range took 2 shots to kill an unarmored soldier. so lets hope they fix the shotty. Graphically it is hands down the best looking game I have ever seen. Even on DX9. Today Chris and I went to the Intel/Dell booth where Crysis was shown. We were looking at a guy playing and then suddenly the game froze.

One of the reps restarted the computer and we tried to run the game again. Since it started up in low resolution, we went into the graphical settings and took a peek.

And then we decided to change the resolution.

We totaly understand that it is not a final version and that things like that happen, and that it was running on XP, when it was supposed to have been running on Vista. Außerdem wurde nicht die neuste Version dort benutzt, irgend ne alpha version wurde benutzt.

also meinst du aktuell im bezug auf jetzt oder auf "damals" kann mir kaum vorstellen das die da nich die topaktuellste nehemn damit sowas auf keinen fall passiert ;)

Leute hört auf hier rum zu lallen, die Bugs uws. werden am Ende der Entwicklung ausgebessert deswegen kommen auch immer wieder dann nach Release Patches für Games wegen den Bugs also meckert nicht so Crysis wird wie FarCry damals ein Meilenstein.

Bei den neuen Videos sind einige coole Sachen dabei, ich glaube man sieht zum ersten Mal den Dolphin Trick :D (NMS->Speed->aus dem Wasser springen)

Achung Spoiler (für diejenigen die sich die Spannung im Spiel aufrecherhalten wollen das inCrysis_dot_com_toaster_alien.AVI nicht ansehen)

Die Cutscene fand ich genial, so etwas schafft Atmosphäre 8-)
Leider hat der Bug mit der schwebenden Waffe die Atmosphäre etwas negativ beeinflusst^^

O man die Qualli ist unter aller Weibliches Schwein^^. Wenn ich schon die möglichkeit habe sowas aufzunehmen, dann mit einer ordentlichen kamera.
