[WIP] - Gangsters Mod - Sammelthread

Welcome to today's news update and a first look at an exciting new work in progress modification entitled, "Gangsters (http://www.crymod.com/thread.php?postid=456385)". Team lead of Forever Softworks (http://foreversoftworks.com/) and Crymod forum member JackMAX has recently updated us with both some outline information of this brand new modification and also a large selection of media, all of which we would like to feature for you here today.



WIP Assets
Based on the success of classic films such as "Goodfellas" and "The Godfather", Gangsters will be is a third person shooter set in the 1940s and 1950s. The player takes on the role of the main character "Steven Watts", the unfortunate victim of a wrong time, wrong place scenario. With a definitive nod towards games such as "Mafia:The City Of Lost Heaven" and "Max Payne" this is a definite first for a CryEngine2 modification and promises to give the player a very unique gameplay experience. Since starting work the team have made great progress in creating new assets, characters, vehicles and weaponry, some of which are showcased below.

Finde das sieht echt nett aus. Könnte was werden aus der Mod.

da kann ich dir, Kolga, nur zustimmen. schaut wirklich schon nett aus und denke ebenfalls das aus dieser modification ma was werden kann. natürlich müssen die modder auch was dafür tun, aber ich hätte anhand der shots nich gedacht, dass es die cryengine2 is. is natürlich noch verbesserungswürdig, alles mit details zu verfeinern, aber als erste shots macht es doch einfach nen netten eindruck.

Hört sich alles schon recht gut aus und es sieht auch so aus. 8-)
Bin mal gespannt, wie sich die Mod entwickeln wird. ;)

An den Texturen der Häuser lässt sich noch feilen und am Charakter auch noch etwas, aber insgesamt sieht das ganze klasse aus, die erste richtige 3rd person Mod, oder? Nett :D

sehr große Herausforderung ;-)

Aber biajetzt sieht das schonmal recht in Ordnung aus. Das größte Hindernis wird sein das Gameplay dementsprechend zu gestalten.

Aber mal schauen was die daraus machen :D

Da wird man als GTA-Fan ja ganz wuschig:D Hab niemals Mafia oder der Pate gespielt, nur die Filme gesehn:oops: Die Waffen sehn ja echt super aus, und die Fahrzeugmodelle erst... einfach schön:-)

OT: Warum sindn die Bilder in den Links so klein?? Das war irgendwie schon öfter mit andren Pics - die sind doch bestimmt in ner Auflösung von eigentlich 1xxx*irgendwas und nich nur so pisselig:???:
